Environmental Attorney Todd E. Palmer Joins Michael Best to Lead Environmental Team

Mr. Palmer will lead the Environmental Law Group within the Firm's Energy & Sustainability Industry Team. Palmer is a well-respected environmental law attorney who co-authored The Wisconsin Business Advisor Series: Environmental and Real Estate Law, published by the State Bar of Wisconsin CLE Books and wrote several chapters for the Wisconsin Environmental Law Handbook and the Wisconsin Business Advisor Series. He has received numerous industry awards including mentions in The Best Lawyers in America and Madison Magazine’s “Top Lawyers” list. Palmer has also been designated as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine.

Prior to joining Michael Best, Palmer worked as an environmental attorney and shareholder with the law firm of Dewitt, Ross & Stevens.  While there, he successfully negotiated "Green Tier" agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Second Generation regulatory agreements in the Wisconsin’s Environmental Cooperation Pilot program. Palmer received his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
