    (BFE) 6,62 Liter pro 100 Kilometer betrug der durchschnittliche Treibstoffverbrauch der 2010 in der Schweiz neu in Verkehr gesetzten Personenwagen. Gegenüber dem Vorjahr (2009: 6,86 l/100 km) entspricht dies einer deutlichen Abnahme um 3,5%. Die durchschnittlichen CO2-Emissionen der Neuwagen sind um 3,6% gesunken und lagen 2010 bei 161 Gramm CO2 pro Kilometer (2009: 167 g/km).
