    (MINERGIE) Die Graue Energie ist ein Mass für den Anteil nicht erneuerbarer Primärenergie,dieüber den ganzen Lebenszyklus für die Ressourcenbereitstellung, die Herstellung, den Ersatz bis zur Entsorgung eines Baustoffes am Ende seiner Nutzungsdauer aufgewendet werden muss. Weil bei den heutigen Herstellungs- und Verarbeitungsprozessen der Einsatz von nicht erneuerbaren Energieträgern einen wesentlichen Teil zur Umweltbelastung des gesamten Produkts beiträgt, stellt die Graue Energie ein guter Indikator dar.
