    (ITWM) Der Durchbruch des Elektroautos lässt auf sich warten. Dies liegt vor allem am zentralen Bauteil – der Batterie. Noch sind Lithium-Ionen-Akkus zu teuer, ihre Reichweiten zu gering. Neue Materialien sollen für bessere Akkus sorgen. Eine Simulationssoftware von Fraunhofer-Forschern hilft, den Entwicklungsprozess zu beschleunigen.
