    (VDB) Entgegen der Behauptungen der Mineralölindustrie sind Strafzahlungen sehr unwahrscheinlich, auch wenn die Erfüllung der Biokraftstoffquote nicht über den neuen Kraftstoff E10 gelingt. Um die Gesamtquote in Höhe von 6,25 Prozent zu erreichen, gibt es alternative Wege: Die Erdölunternehmen können neben der Beimischung von Bioethanol oder Biodiesel auch den Verkauf von reinem Biokraftstoff nutzen, um die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Gesamtquote zu erfüllen.
