    (PM) Der Verwaltungsrat der EBL (Genossenschaft Elektra Baselland) hat seine Haltung gegenüber der Kernenergie überprüft. Die tragischen Ereignisse in Japan bestärken die EBL darin, ihre weitsichtige Strategie zur Förderung der Energieeffizienz und zur Erhöhung der Produktion von erneuerbarer Energie im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten mit aller Konsequenz weiter zu führen und zu beschleunigen. Neue Kernkraftwerke auf Basis der heutigen Technologie - auch als Ersatz für die bestehenden Anlagen – sind nicht mehr zu verantworten.
