    (PM) Der Erdgas-Absatz in der Schweiz belief sich im vergangenen Jahr auf knapp 39 Milliarden Kilowattstunden (kWh). Die Absatz-Steigerung von fast 12 Prozent auf einen neuen Rekordwert ist einerseits auf das wesentlich kältere Wetter mit mehr Heizgradtagen als 2009 zurückzuführen. Andererseits konnte Erdgas dank Netzerweiterungen und neuen Kunden im Inland weiter seine Position ausbauen. Immer beliebter wird auch Biogas, das sowohl als Treibstoff wie auch vermehrt als Heizenergie genutzt wird.
