    (BMU) Die EU-Erneuerbaren-Energien-Richtlinie verpflichtet alle Mitgliedstaaten auch im Wärme- und Kältebereich zum weiteren Ausbau der Nutzung erneuerbarer Energien. Hierbei sollen öffentliche Gebäude eine Vorbildfunktion übernehmen. Dies setzt die Novelle des deutschen Erneuerbare Wärme Gesetztes kurz EEWärmeG nun in deutsches Recht um. Seit dem ersten Mai gilt nicht nur bei neuen, sondern auch bei bestehenden öffentlichen Gebäuden eine Pflicht zur anteiligen Nutzung erneuerbarer Energien.
