(AEE) Wenn Biogas einen höheren Beitrag zur Strom- und Wärmeversorgung leisten soll, so ist nicht nur die Mobilisierung von zusätzlichen Mengen von Biomasse für die Verwertung in Biogasanlagen notwendig. Entscheidend ist auch ein effizienter Einsatz des erzeugten Biogases, d.h. die eingesetzte Primärenergie sollte idealerweise mit einem sehr hohen Wirkungsgrad genutzt werden. Grössere Verluste sollten auf den Verwertungspfaden von der Biogaserzeugung zum Endverbraucher möglichst vermieden werden.
