    (Exportinitiative) Nach Angaben des Energieministers Hassan Younes im Januar 2011 verfolgt Ägypten das Ziel, Windkraftprojekte mit einer Kapazität von insgesamt 2‘690 Megawatt in den nächsten fünf Jahren zu initiieren. Die Ausschreibung wird sich nun verzögern.
