    (Suisse Eole) Gemäss der japanischen Windenergievereinigung JWPA wurde keine Windturbine vom Erdbeben oder vom nachfolgenden Tsunami beschädigt. Selbst der Windpark Kamisu, der wenige Meter vor der Küste im Meer steht und 300 km vom Epizentrum entfernt liegt, hat den 5 m hohen Tsunami unbehelligt überstanden.
