Die offizielle Genehmigungsurkunde überreichte der sächsische Wirtschaftsminister Sven Morlok an den Vorstandsvorsitzenden der SolarWorld AG, Dr.-Ing. E.h. Frank Asbeck, heute in Altenberg-Zinnwald an der deutsch-tschechischen Grenze. Damit kann der Solartechnologiekonzern die Erkundung des Rohstoffs, der vor allem für moderne Batterien zur Speicherung von Solarstrom benötigt wird, im Osterzgebirge beginnen.
