    (BFE) Gemäss Bericht des Eidgenössischen Starkstrominspektorates ESTI zur Marktüberwachung 2010 weisen rund 14% aller kontrollierten elektrotechnischen Erzeugnisse Mängel auf. Diese reichen von unvollständigen Nachweisen zur Sicherheit bis hin zu sicherheitstechnischen Mängeln. Die Erhebung durch das ESTI erfolgt anhand von Stichprobenkontrollen.
