    (EnCT) Das ist das Ergebnis des „Praxisvergleichs Smart-Metering-Produkte 2011“, den die Forschungsgruppe EnCT GmbH aus Freiburg (D) im Januar 2011 durchgeführt hat. Während in vielen europäischen Ländern intelligente Zähler bereits flächendeckend ausgebaut werden, wie ein aktueller Bericht des EU-Projekts „Smart Regions“ belegt, bieten in Deutschland bisher lediglich rund 6 % der etwa 800 Energieversorger intelligente Zähler zusammen mit „smarten“ Energieprodukten an.
