    (Fraunhofer Institute) Künftig müssen die wachsenden Mengen an Sonnen- und Windstrom für dunkle oder windschwache Zeiten gespeichert werden. Eine Lösung sind Redox-Flow-Batterien, die bis zu 2000 Haushalte versorgen können. Mehrere Fraunhofer-Institute arbeiten gemeinsam an diesen Flüssigbatterien der Zukunft.
