    (BFE) Der Elektrizitätsverbrauch der Schweiz ist im Jahr 2010 um 4,0% auf 59,8 Milliarden Kilowattstunden (Mrd. kWh) gestiegen. Die einheimischen Kraftwerke erzeugten 66,3 Mrd. kWh oder 0,4% weniger Strom als im Vorjahr. Bei Importen von 66,8 Mrd. kWh und Exporten von 66,3 Mrd. kWh resultierte im Jahr 2010 wie in den Jahren 2005 und 2006 ein Stromimportüberschuss.
