    (PM) Die TW Energie AG, ein Unternehmen der BKW Gruppe, und die Gemeinde Kerns werden am 28. März 2011 mit dem Bau des Trinkwasserkraftwerks Steini, Kerns beginnen. Das Kraftwerk wird voraussichtlich im Sommer 2011 den Betrieb aufnehmen und einen Beitrag zur Stromversorgung der Region mit CO2-freier, erneuerbarer und einheimischer Energie leisten.
