14Die Windstärkemessung kann auch ohne das Aufstellen von Monitorisierungspfosten erfolgen. Unter Nutzung des LIDAR-Gerätes können die Windparameter zeitweise, für 2-3 Monate oder auch kürzer, überwacht werden. Dieses Gerät hat die Form eines kleinen Kontainers und funktioniert nach dem Radarprinzip. Es wird zusätzlich an schwer zugänglichen Orten eingesetzt, oder wo die Investition für einen permanenten Pfosten nicht angemessen ist.
