12Autoritatile nipone au emis o noua alerta de tsunami in mai multe regiuni din Japonia. Valurile pot depasi 3 metri inaltime in unele zone.
Un cutremur cu magnitudinea de 8,9, urmat de zeci de replici puternice, a lovit, vineri, Japonia, iar valuri tsunami provocate de seism au lovit coastele japoneze.
Un alt cutremur violent, cu magnitudinea 6,6 grade pe scara Richter, s-a produs sambata dimineata in Japonia, in prefectura Niigata, din nord-vestul tarii.
Hipocentrul acestuia a fost localizat la numai un kilometru adancime, potrivit institutului american de geofizica USGS, care a evaluat magnitudinea acestuia la 6,2.
