01Mai multe ploi acide au căzut, săptămâna aceasta, peste oraşe din Bulgaria, potrivit meteorologilor de la Sofia, citaţi de ziarul Novinar. Potrivit specialiştilor de la Institutul Naţional de Meteorologie din capitala bulgară, au fost înregistrate ploi cu aciditate peste limite în nordul ţării, în apropierea graniţei cu România.
Potrivit lui Valeri Spiridonov, vicepreşedinte al Institutului de la Sofia, ploaia acidă are nivelul pH-ului sub 5.6, iar cu cât este mai scăzut nivelul pH-ului, cu atât aciditatea este mai mare.
Potrivit datelor preliminare, au fost înregistrate ploi acide (pH 4,9) în zona oraşelor Vidin (nord-vest, la graniţa cu România), Loveci (nord) şi Karnobat (sud-est). Cel mai ridicat nivel de aciditate s-a înregistrat în ploile căzut în zonele oraşelor Plevna, Dobrici, Montana, Şumen din nordul Bulgariei şi la Sliven şi Burgas din sud-estul ţării (pH 4,5).
