13Un cal înhămat la o căruţă s-a prăbuşit pe stradă la Ploieşti. Animalul care prezenta clare de malnutriţie s-a chinuit zeci de minute să se ridice de pe caldarâm.
Potrivit declaraţiilor martorilor, care au sunat la 112, proprietarii calului l-ar lovit repetat ca să se ridice. Deşi aceştia neagă căm ar fi agresat animalul, acesta prezenta rani evidente când a fost consultat de medicul veterinar sosit la faţa locului.În ciuda acestor dovezi, animalul a fost lăsat în grija stăpânilor, pentru că legislaţia română prevede confiscarea unui animal doar în cazul unor abuzuri repetate din partea proprietarilor.
