16In prezent grupul italian are in Romania capacitati eoliene instalate de 64 MW.
In raportul anual pe 2010 prezentat marti de Enel sunt mentionate investitii de 800 milioane de euro in Romania pentru intervalul 2011-2015.
Intrebat ce suma din totatul de 800 milioane euro va fi directionata spre proiecte de productie a energiei, Conti a raspuns ca fondurile vor viza in principal reteaua de distributie.
Totodata, Enel asteapta de la Guvernul roman o decizie privind proiectul reactoarelor nucleare 3 si 4 de la Cernavoda. Enel a ramas singura companie europeana de utilitati implicata in acest proiect, dupa ce RWE, CEZ, Iberdrola si GDF SUEZ s-au retras. La proiect mai participa compania de stat Nuclearelectrica si ArcelorMittal Romania.
Grupul Enel este prezent pe piata romaneasca din 2005 si are activitati de productie, distributie si furnizare a electricitatii.
