    Opt dintre primele douăzeci de proiecte eoliene majore sunt localizate pe teritoriul judeţului Tulcea. Potrivit Adevarul, Enel investeşte 500 de milioane de euro la Valea Nucarilor, portughezii de la EDP Renovaveis bagă 800 de milioane în judeţul nostru dar şi în Constanţa şi Galaţi, Beta Wind construieşte un parc în zona Casimcea, Dăeni, Topolog iar Land Power construieşte un parc de 168 megawaţi la Topolog.

    Potrivit datelor furnizate pentru „Forbes România“ de Asociaţia Română pentru Energie Eoliană, până în 2013 vor fi instalate în total turbine eoliene de 4.013 MW. Asociaţia menţionează că realizarea acestor proiecte, care au deja contracte de racord la reţea, depinde de aplicarea noii legi a energiei regenerabile şi de contextul macroeconomic.
