12Avionul solar al proiectantului Piccard Bertrand se va ridica maine de la sol pentru primul sau zbor international.
Daca previuziunile meteo raman favorabile, avionul va decola din Payerne, Elvetia, la ora 6 dimineata, avandu-l la comanda pe pilotul Andre Borschberg, si va ateriza la Bruxelles 12 ore mai tarziu.
Avionul, propulsat doar prin energie solara, va survola Franta si Luxemburg-ul, inainte de a reveni la sol in Bruxelles, in jurul orei 21.00.
In timpul zborului, pilotul va fi asistat de o echipa tehnica din Payerne. Cei care vor dori sa vada imagini in timp real din timpul operatiunii vor putea urmari experimentul pe site-ul www.solarimpulse.com sau cu ajutorul aplicatiei pentru smartphone, ”Solar Impulse inventing the future”.
Astfel, curiosii vor putea obtine informatii despre altitudinea si viteza avionului, precum si imagini din cabina pilotului si din sala de control de la sol.
Avionul a fost testat anul trecut pentru prima oara, intr-un zbor experimental, si este programat sa faca ocolul pamantului anul viitor.
”Solar Impulse” va fi prezentat publicului la Bruxelles pana in 29 mai, cand va zbura la Paris pentru a participa la Salonul Aeronautic si Spatial, ce se desfasoara intre 20 si 26 iunie.
