    Agent Green este indignata de recentele afirmatii ale ministrului agriculturii Valeriu Tabara care doreste sa introduca soia modificata genetic (MG) in culturi de camp si in farfuriile romanilor incepand cu 2012 . In realitate, astfel de afirmatii nu au niciun fel de acoperire legala, economica si stiintifica.

    Din punct de vedere legal soia modificată genetic nu este autorizată pentru cultivare pe teritoriul Uniunii Europene (UE). În România aceasta a fost interzisă în anul 2006 înainte de aderarea la UE. Cultivarea de OMG fără autorizaţie se sancţionează cu amendă de la 50 000 la 80 000 lei.
