    Iod radioactiv a fost descoperit in zapada de pe Ceahlau. Anuntul specialistilor vine dupa ce marti au fost anuntate urme ale radiatiilor de la Fukushima in apa de ploaie si in laptele din zona Slanic Prahova. Specialistii incearca sa linisteasca populatia si spun ca este vorba despre cantitati care nu afecteaza sanatatea oamenilor. Premierul Boc asteapta astazi un raport despre urmele de iod radioactiv de la Fukushima descoperite in Romania.

    Valorile sunt mici si nu pun in pericol sanatatea. Cercetatorii au descoperit urme de iod radioactiv in depunerile de pe Varful Toaca din Masivul Ceahlau. Practic masuratorile au fost facute dupa filtrele de la statia de supraveghere a radioactivitatii mediului de pe Varful Toaca la peste 1.850 metri altitudine. Inca din data de 3 martie aceste filtre sunt trimise zilnic la Iasi unde este o statie de radioactivitate a mediului ai sunt masurate aceste probele din aer, depuneri si precipitatii.
