21Consiliul Investitorilor Straini (FIC/CIS) considera ca domeniul energiei regenerabile ar putea atrage investitii de cel putin cinci miliarde de euro in Romania, in urmatorii ani.
Potrivit organizatiei, investitiile in economie reprezinta o resursa prioritara de crestere, iar estimarile CIS arata ca domeniul energiei regenerabile are potentialul de a atrage peste cinci miliarde de euro.
De altfel, si analistii internationali cred ca Romania are un avantaj deosebit in privinta energiei eoliene, Dobrogea fiind una din zonele perfecte pentru instalarea de turbine.
In 2009, Romania producea doar 14 megawatti de energie eoliana, insa, pana in 2010, s-au adaugat 450 de megawatti. In acest an, este deja planificata instalarea unei capacitati de 700 de megawatti de energie eoliana.
Printre companiile interesate de acest domeniu in Romania se numara Iberdrola, din Spania, EDP Renovaveis, din Portugalia, si OMV Petrom.
CIS reprezinta peste 125 de companii care au investitii totale de 36 de miliarde de euro in Romania.
În luna octombrie 2010, Consiliul Investitorilor Straini (FIC/CIS) a lansat un plan de 80 de masuri, intitulat “Programul pentru Crestere Economica” – Actiuni Prioritare pentru Repornirea Economiei (Priority Actions to Restart the Economy), care urmareste sa repuna rapid economia româneasca pe o traiectorie crescatoare.
