27Gigantul sud-coreean, Samsung, a semnat un contract preliminar prin care se angajeaza sa investeasca peste 7 miliarde de dolari intr-un proiect public de construire a unui oras dedicat energiilor verzi, informeaza site-ul rtl.be.
Construirea orasului va incepe in 2021, intr-o zona mlastinoasa care se afla la 200 de kilometri de capitala Coreii de Sud, Seul, in celebra regiune Saemangeum.
Orasul ecologic sud-coreean, finantat de Samsung, va avea un generator de energie eoliana, baterii solare, centre de cercetare, cat si locuinte pentru aproximativ 20.000 de salariati.
Coreea de Sud importa in prezent 97% din energia pe care o consuma si intentioneaza sa-si reduca dependenta de energia fosila, carbune sau petrol, indreptandu-se spre sursele de energie regenerabila.
