02Cancelarul german Angela Merkel a inaugurat, pe 2 mai, primul parc eolian offshore in scop comercial din Germania, pe fondul dorintei tot mai mari a tarii sale de a folosi vantul pentru a scapa de centralele nucleare.
“Ne indreptam catre noi tarmuri”, s-a felicitat Merkel, potrivit declaratiilor facute publice de purtatorul sau de cuvant si citate de AFP.
Parcul Baltic 1, situat in Marea Baltica, este format din 21 de eoliene cu o anvergura de 93 de metri si dotate, fiecare, cu o capacitate maxima de 2,3 megawati, a precizat Siemens, producatorul acestora, intr-un comunicat.
Aceste eoliene, amplasate la 16 km de zona continentala, vor alimenta cu energie electrica 50.000 de gospodarii, aprovizionarea urmand sa fie asigurata de grupul energetic EnBW.
Germania isi pune foarte multe sperante in instalatiile eoliene de pe mare, in ciuda dificultatilor tehnice pe care le prezinta acestea, a nevoilor de finantare considerabile si a problemelor pe care le-ar putea ridica mediului marin.
Amplasarea de instalatii eoliene noi pe pamant a devenit dificila, din cauza lipsei de spatiu, iar inlocuirea turbinelor vechi cu modele noi, mai productive, dar si mai mari, nu este o optiune foarte populara.
De aceea, autoritatile de la Berlin si-au indreptat acum atentia catre vantul marin pentru ca tara lor sa poata renunta la energia produsa in centralele nucleare.
Pana in 2030, in largul zonelor de coasta germane urmeaza sa fie instalate eoliene a caror capacitate de productie totala ar putea ajunge la 25.000 de megawati, ceea ce inseamna de 500 de ori mai multi decat poate produce parcul inaugurat pe 2 mai, a mai explicat Siemens.
