Postul de televiziune japonez NHK i-a sfatuit pe localnici sa-si astupe usile si ferestrele, iar expertii au recomandat persoanelor care stau afara sa-si protejeze caile respiratorii cu un prosop ud si sa-si acopere cat mai mult corpul pentru a evita contacte directe ale pielii cu aerul.
Potrivit Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco), operatorul centralei, explozia de la reactorul 1 de la centrala nucleara de la Fukushima s-a produs dupa o zguduire a Pamantului, iar tavanul si peretii s-au prabusit.
Patru persoane au fost ranite in explozie. Este vorba despre angajati care se ocupau de rezolvarea unor probleme provocate de puternicul seism care a lovit ieri nord-estul Japoniei.
