10Un roman din Deva, de profesie inginer auto, a reusit sa castige medalia de bronz la Salonul International de Inventii Geneva 2011 (6-10 aprilie), cu un dispozitiv care permite cresterea puterii motorului unei masini, in paralel cu reducerea consumului de carburant in zilele de canicula, potrivit Antena 3.
Inventia romanului Corneliu Birtok-Baneasa se numeste "deflector integrat pentru radiatiile termice provenite de la motoarele cu ardere interna".
"Deflectorul este foarte bun pe timp de vara pentru ca mentine densitatea aerului crescuta, se evita supraincalzirea si pierderile de putere ale motorului. Fara deflector, galeria de admisie si filtrul ating 80 de grade, in timp ce folosirea dispozitivului scade temperatura la 25-30 de grade Celsius, intr-o zi caniculara. Utilizarea deflectorului duce la cresterea puterii motorului si reduce consumul de carburant", a explicat inventatorul.
Dispozitivul creat de romanul Corneliu Baneasa urmeaza sa primeasca brevetul de inventie de la Oficiul de Stat pentru Inventii si Marci.
