12Miezul reactorului de la Fukushima care se afla la aproximativ 250 de kilometri distanţă de Tokio este posibil sa se fi topit, iar in timpul exploziei care a avut loc in urma cu catva timp au fost raniti 4 muncitori, informeaza Realitatea TV.
Lucrătorii de Fukushima nu au putut sa racească reactoarele si astfel presiunea din miezul reactoarelor a crescut foarte mult.
Premierul japonez a cerut evacuarea de urgenta a celor 45.000 de locuitori diun zonă. Masuratorile nivelului substantei radioactive continua.
S-au înregistrat scurgeri de cesiu radioactiv de 1.000 de ori mai mari decât cele normale. Totusi, sustin specialistii, singurul pericol imediat pentru Tokio ar fi cel legat de alimantarea cu energie electrică, iar compania de electricitate a acerut locuitorilor capitalei nipone să reducă la minimum consumul.
