30Aparent un trend, mersul pe bicicleta reprezinta de multe ori o modalitate practica de a evita aglomerarile urbane si in acelasi timp un mod de a proteja mediul inconjurator. Revolutia pe doua roti din marile orase ascunde insa si riscuri.
La fel ca si in cazul unei motociclete sau mopedurile, riscurile asigurabile pentru biciclete pot fi destul de multe, cum ar fi, furt, avarie partiala sau totala si chiar vandalism.
"Din pacate, in Romania nu prea exista alternative pentru astfel de produse de asigurare. Bicicletele pot fi asigurate momentan, doar pe perioada in care se afla in incinta unei locuinte, a unui showroom sau magazinelor - si doar ca oricare alt bun", a declarat Paul Mihaleche, director agentie in cadrul Safety Broker.
In concluzie, nici o companie de profil din Romania nu asigura un astfel de bun luat individual, desi pretul unor biciclete poate depasi si 5.000 de euro.
Cu aceasta problema se confrunta atat proprietarii de biciclete, cat si centrele de inchiriere. Asociatia Green Revolution a lansat anul trecut in parteneriat cu sectorul privat diverse proiecte de bike-sharing gratuit, destinate atat centrelor universitare cat si angajatilor companiilor respective.
”La o bicicleta folosita de pana 6 ori pe zi, ajungi ca de la defectiuni foarte mici sa ai costuri foarte mari. In acest caz o companie care ar accepta la insistentele noastre asa ceva ne-ar cere niste costuri foarte mari. Noi am apelat un fond de reparatii pe care l-am folosit", a spus Corneliu Belciug, director de programe in cadrul Asociatiei Green Revolution.
