Daca previuziunile meteo raman favorabile, avionul va decola din Payerne, Elvetia, la ora 6 dimineata, avandu-l la comanda pe pilotul Andre Borschberg, si va ateriza la Bruxelles, 12 ore mai tarziu.
Avionul, propulsat doar prin energie solara, va survola Franta si Luxemburg-ul, inainte de a reveni la sol in Bruxelles, in jurul orei 21:00.
