27Elvetia va distruge la sfarsitul acestui an 3,4 milioane de doze de vaccin impotriva gripei AH1N1, evaluate la 56,4 milioane de franci elvetieni (43 milioane de euro).
Procesul de distrugere a acestor vaccinuri din cauza expirarii lor va costa circa 200.000 de franci elvetieni (153.000 euro) in plus, potrivit agentiei spaniole de presa EFE.
Guvernul elvetian a achizitionat 13 milioane de doze de vaccin de trei tipuri diferite - Celtura, Focetria si Pandemrix, primele doua produse de Novartis iar al treilea de GlaxoSmithKline - in contextul pandemiei de gripa AH1N1 declarate la mijlocul anului 2009 de Organizatia Mondiala a Sanatatii (OMS).
