    Apa de mare din apropierea reactoarelor nucleare de la Fukushima are un nivel mai mare de radioactivitate decat s-a inregistrat initial, a anuntat agentia pentru siguranta nucleara din Japonia.

    Apa contine iod radioactiv de 3.355 de ori mai mare decat limita legala, potrivit agentiei, desi un oficial a declarat ca iodul urmeaza sa se deterioreze pana cand va ajunge sa intre in contact cu locuitorii, informeaza BBC News.

    Alte masuratori au aratat ca nivelul de iod este de 1.850 de ori mai mare decat limita legala. 
    Reprezentantii agentiei pentru siguranta nucleara sustin ca izotopul iod-131 isi injumatateste cantitatea de radiatii emisa in aproximativ opt zile si ca, in ciuda concentratiei mari care exista in apa de mare, se va dezintegra inainte sa intre in contact cu locuitorii.
