Odata cu redeschiderea sezonului de vanatoare de foci in Canada, s-a declansat si actiunea de protest impotriva uciderii inutile a puilor si abandonarea lor in lumea gheturilor.

Organizatia International Fund for Animal Welfare (ILFAW), denunta de asemenea metodele inumane folosite de vanatorii de foci in goana lor dupa prada, complet lipsite de reguli care sa asigure acestor vietati cel putin o moarte fara chinuri, relateaza ANSA.
