20O noua statiune turistica este in planul Ministerului Dezvoltarii si Turismului si la Petrila, Valea Jiului, dupa modelul Straja, Pasul Valcan si Parang.
Aici, primarul orasului Petrila, Ilie Paducel, spune ca va fi construita o baza turistica de la zero, intr-o zona "virgina", iar pentru inceput va fi construit drumul de acces.
