Facebook Datacenter Grand Opening Features PV Trackers® Solar Array

Sited along the East side of the 300,000 square foot structure, the array will provide electric power for the office areas. The array consists of seventeen trackers with SolarWorld 240W panels and was installed by Sunlight Solar and PV Trackers. The installation introduces PVT’s next-generation tracker design that beats the performance and cost of competing technologies and is capable of carrying 7kW of solar panels.
The solar array features products and talent local to Oregon. Central Oregon businesses were chosen for the trackers, inverters and installation, which is a great showcase of innovation and expertise of this small community that is big in solar.
